Lee Andersen Ireland Iris Couture Gown
$ 4,500.00
This is a one-of-a-kind couture gown from designer Lee Andersen, custom-made in her Maryland studio for the cover of our autumn 2026 Sister Witch issue. It will fit S-M, has tie-backs to adjust the size (there are no zippers or clasps), and flares over the hips. It will fit a 32 to 36 bust and a 36 to 44 hip. The bodice is made of stretch velvet, hand-sewn embellishments, beadwork, and lace; the skirt consists of 22 layers of different chiffons, organza, embellished silks, feathers, and lace. Many of the fabrics were designed and created specifically for Lee. The gown is dry clean only.
Lee normally charges up to $8,000 for hr gowns, but has allowed us to offer it to our readers for $4,500.
The mysteries of the Emerald Isle run deep and this gown seems to carry them within each of its many stitches. What secret does this dress hold within the deep iridescent green fabric and the embroidered Irises? Is the wearer really a selkie, seeking to lure unsuspecting men to sea? Or an apparition glittering among the evening stars and firelight?
