Market of Stars modelled the size and weight of this scarf after their favourite vintage French scarves to create chic, easy to wear designs for every day use. Crafted from 100% viscose (derived from plant fibres such as wood and bamboo), the fabric is a lighter, airier weight than their kimonos, with the same beautifully soft feel. Handwash, hang to dry. 68cm/26.8 inches x 155cm/61 inches.

The Forevermore collection, a collaboration between Market of Stars and Enchanted Living Magazine, inhabits the world of one of the most romantic and timeless paintings of the nineteenth century: Frederic William Burton’s The Meeting on the Turret Stairs. The painting captures a stolen moment between two star-crossed lovers from an old Danish tale — Hellelil and her beloved Hildebrand — whose love is forbidden by her family. On a winding stone staircase, they meet for what will be the last time as he holds her outstretched arm with tender reverence. Burton leaves us suspended there, in the breath before goodbye.
